“Web Design Bahrain” – I want google to show me some love

When I first launched my website http://www.h2create.com I used social media to promote it. Looking back, I can remember the first week my site was live, I actually ended up getting 3 clients, and not all of which were in Bahrain, simply by ranting on about my site on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and even some BBM groups.

Ever since that point, I have been so busy working with clients, that I have not had any time to reflect and look back on my own site, since there was no need to.

What I do notice, is that if I search for the terms “Web Design Bahrain” on google, I rank very low, in fact I believe as of today I was the fifth page on google.

This is because my website is very poorly optimized in regards to SEO (search engine optimization). This blog, and http://www.askbahrain.com get a lot more hits on a daily basis, because they are much better optimized.

So I thought, why not improve my websites search engine friendliness? The Challenge is on, I am blogging about this to mark down the date that the challenge was initiated. There are a lot of varioubles and techniques when it comes to SEO, and I plan to implement them over the course of the next few months for my own business.

So today we are on page 5, lets review this post in the next 3 months.
